Wall street is now sitting at the bottom end of its bear flag, for those who know what that is. If it breaks from here, then the flag will hold true as a continuation pattern. ALSI still has about 300pts to go for its bear flag behind - so we have a lot more downside potential from here. However, since yesterday was a US holiday - we could well just be staring at a holiday reversal - quite a well documented phenomenon on US markets. Lets see what happens this afternoon shall we?

I think the DOW is going to fall heavily today - catch up (or down) from the holiday. Also it is not starting to sink in to everyone that no amount of state intervention is going to solce the debt crisis - in fact - with all the bade news in Europe predicted for the week - we could have a record down close this Friday.
