Does anyone know why Simmers has taken such a drastic dive? I can't see any fundamental reason.

It's been symptomatic since 1st June, look at the graph - suppose because they walked away from the Pamodzi deal (only speculating).

To answer my own question (thanks to Centwise), Simmers' plunge correlates quite well with the Rand price of gold. Furthermore, ALL the major gold shares have plunged similarly since end May.

Also remember that the FUM share price on the Canada exchange has halved over the past three months resulting the the value decreasing from R2.70 to R1.30 of the SIM share price. RSA mining operations only valued at 90c/share. Cheap?
