I've been trading warrants only for a while and so far I've not burnt my fingers! In fact, my little system seems to work well. One question though, I buy/sell in the morning before 10:00, but I often find that the issuer (often ABSA!) do not have any buy/sell offers on their warrant. TOPABN is a good example! I quite often loose out on a lot of profit, because they haven't arrived for the party. How does this work? Is there a specific time when they should have offers ready?

The warrant market opens at 9:15 and closes at 16:50.

You should get ABSA's warrants desks's number, if they are not "in the market" you can always call them and ask them to "make a market for you" so that you can get out/in.
