Why does an Index warrant like TOPSBN have an exercise price? What happens if it expires under the exercise price? What happens if it expires over the exercise price?

all warrats have an exercise/strike price .. for calls if the exercise is below market then expires worthless .. if above then expires with value ..

If above, what value? The matrix value or the current trading value? What is this: Please note the above-mentioned warrants will expire at the close of trade on 05 Oct 2010. Holders should ensure that their holdings are registered prior to this date as only registered holders will be entitled to exercise. Warrants will be exercisable in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the Common Terms Document, relevant Conditions Annexure/s and/or Supplements.. All Warrants will be settled via STRATE. What must we register?
