Can some one please explain Simons lazy system... I've seen it mentioned the last few week weeks, but are not sure what they are referring to. Has it been posted before? How do I search the forums? Cheers

*short **long trade trigger *close below 15 day ema **close above 15 day ema trade confirm *red next day by 16h30 **green next day by 16h30 condition a *if still below 15 day ema & green next day trigger still active & wait for red 16h30 next day **if still above 15 day ema & red next day trigger still active & wait for green 16h30 next day condition b *if moving above 15 day ema trigger cancelled **if moving below 15 day ema trigger cancelled condition c *30 day ema below 60 day ema for primary direction **30 day ema above 60 day ema for primary direction stop loss & exit *20% trailing stop until breakeven then a higher high out **20% trailing stop until breakeven then a lower low out there are certainly more "conditions" as is the case at the moment with 30/60 ema crossover, simon hope i'm not intruding on your turf, this is a compilation of what i've picked up over time

no special conditions .. important word is lazy .. an once in I ignore all the ema's and just focus on price .. so last tarde, sure the 30/60 crossed, but I was in and ignored until exit strategy was meet, which in this case was stop loss ..

Hi, could you email me this in a clearer format please - I am really battling to work the logic out in a flowchart (simple me!). Address is [email protected]. Many thanks

I did some backtesting on your system to 2007 and its been quite profitable... Good one, thanx Simon. This might make me back all those overinflated bank costs SBSA have been charging me over the years. The only place the system treads water a bit is in a sideways market, in a narrow range. It needs trending markets to really rake in the points.

ya, tis a directional system ..sideways an it hurts .. I been tradin git since jan 2005 an works a treat .. specially as it fills the most important aspect -- lazy ..

So, if it only works for indices, any lazy system recommended for other shares?

Hi Simon, How do you search for indices to trade. In my "find or trade shares" I can look for shares, SSF & warrants. Where do I go for indices?

only one I bother with - the topi - an I use warrants, one could use stx40 ssf's .. you could also use stx ssf's on resi, indi an fini ..
