SmallCaps Lag - Experienced Traders Opinion?

I have been watching a lot of Smallcaps over the last few months and with the exception of a few who have taken off recently(ELI, MST, 1TM etc. etc.) a large number appear to be following a technical cycle where they came off their lows around June/July and have since pullbacked again (SKY, ATR, CSP, HUG, BFS, ADW, SBG etc. etc). This lot are all looking oversold on Daily Stochastics and based on a recent Moneyweb article on SmallCap buying lag it looks like many SmallCaps could start taking off soon as buyers move from Blue Chips to SmallCaps. Any experienced traders been through one of these Bear/Bull cycles before and have some comments?
