I don't think the market will drop 350 to 400 points and stay there for today. IMHO. A profit taken with a 300 point drop is not to shabby.

Sorry CE - meant TOPI not JSE overall. It has already dropped 300! But I think it is intraday volatility - not the start of bear season yet... Everyone and everything is jittery about rates anouncement

CE I've read something about that in a thread (IGI..) but can't find the proper site. Where do you get hold of the TOP40 futures? Why was the wave still around the live prices, when the futures was indicating a other picture?

I wonder if I should get out at 300 points down. I am sure there is still a bit more downside today. I suppose this is where the greed factor takes over- Up 25% for the morning on TOPDWS.
