Does anybody know if you are able to set alerts for technical indicators on this site? Example...Alert (sms) when short term moving average intersects medium/long term average. If not...any suggestions on software that you can set these up on?

It amazes me how quiet this forum goes when someone ask a really good question. It is like giving a piece of the holy trading grail away. One possible way of setting indicators is to identify at what price the moving average will cross and set a alert on that price.

No, you cannot set technical alerts on this site, price alerts but not technical alerts , nor can your alerts initiate a trade....What about a filter like "show all shares whose MACD have crossed over above the Zero line and falling" ??

If you know that 28 EMA will move at a price of R30 for RMB share , then you can set an alert for an sms to be sent once that R30 level has been breach. Not the proper way , but it still does the job.
