What the heck is going with this share? Everybody is saying buy, buy, buy, but it keeps falling. Now at 700. Has this got anything to do with a possible problem raising capital to develop their mine? Or is it a backlash against BEE?

I can certainly sympathise with your sentiments. I bought WEZ @ R9, then again @R8. The "experts" say it will be great in the long run, but we may all be dead in the long run. I am in the market now, to at least see some gains in the shares. I sold all my WEZ shares at a big loss, and bought lots of WSL and CZA. Compare the results of WSL and CZA against WEZ for the last two months. Yes, in the long run WEZ will make money, but who wants to wait two years to get any gains ?

Would be interested to hear Hennie's comment on this share/price at the moment(WEZ)?

Have no comment on to days share price. It can go down to R 4.00 and still have no comment. I had entered this share when it was in the lower R2.00 and added and solid as we went on. Like I have said before that this is my long term share and have said that on a number of occasions. Iâ_Tll be adding more in the next to weeks

Hi Hennie... yes, sadly I did get out at lower prices than what I bought at. I am impatient with the market, so I sold at a loss. I did the same with Merafe, and I see MRF has been doing well lately. (yes Jimmo, I see you smiling !!!). I did however put the majority of the remaining cash into coal shares, and I am glad to say that I have at least recouped all the losses that I felt on Wez. No hard feelings, we win some and we lose some.... as long as we win more than we lose. WEZ will eventually do well, but I ain't waiting that long.

What do you mean with a war between the two. To see who can drop the lowest, or are they in conflict over ground/rights?

Ja, that would have been nice. Platinum and gold have not been good to me. I lost on Simmers as well. For now I am sticking to the dirty sooty commodities that we will all need in the future. Good luck with Wez Hennie, you must be one of the most loyal supporters of the share. You got in early, so the pain is less when it goes from R12 to R7 in a very short space of time.

Just glad you managed to recover your losses...I've also moved into coal from gold and platinum, too much volatility..just be careful with WSL though, they are a small company that that don't actually mine coal, all they do is wash it for other people...dirty job if you ask me!

Hi Jimmo. Thanks for the advice. WSL released some news recently, stating that they had acquired new reserves which they intend to mine, so hopefully they are diversifying. The majority of my coal stock is in CZA anyway. Also, see the sens WSL put out about their expected results. They also look very positive.

Hi Plonky, don't want to sound to negative about WSL, but their "reserves" are actually "unproven" at worst and "inferred" at best, resources only, over new order prospecting right. To start mining they still have to 1) drill out the resources to produce a SAMRAC complient reserve. 2) apply for and get granted a New Order Mining Right 3) on top of this they only hold 60% of the rights and have to pay a royalty to the owners of the the other 40%..phew, this is turning into a report..I think your wise to have you money in CZA.. Other options are EXX and SNU(going cheap at the moment).. these are all way more viable in the short term..OMO

Well, its now touching its Aug 2007 low. Don't jump in too soon on reversal as it might be false.

Flip, every time I think we have hit the bottom it keeps going down. At a loss of R45,000 too late to get out. Hennie, please give me some empathetic support here. I may not live another 20 years whilst waiting for them to get there....

Maggie. It is never to late to get out. I am not telling you to sell But I am saying that if you want to play the short term game you had better learn to cut your losses small and fast. Leaning to do this without regret is the diffrence between those who make it here for 6 months and those who make it. I hope it rallies for your sake, but there are no definites in the market.

Hey Jimmo... it sounds like you and I are in similar professions. If you know about JORC compliancy, and SAMREC codes then you must be close to the mining industry. What line of business are you in ??. I work for a mining consultancy, which specialises in feasibility studies - mainly in the coal industry.
