Topi Futures trading 250 points above TOPI current... Topi futures (29895) vs Topi current (29640). Futures usually trade 100 to 150 above current index. Rational?

Am also still trying to understand the mechanics, but STX40 is trading ex dividend today.

dep, close out only 10 days back, so it almost full quarter to expiry so should be trading 200-300 above topi .. reducing by about 5 points a day ..

but its not a very profitable gap to trade...with a 50 point stop loss, the gap must be at least 150 + 50 points?
