We're happy to announce that we have added SAFEX Commodity futures onto our system for trading.

The futures on the following commodities are included initially; Gold & Platinum with Silver, Copper & Oil to follow in November.

Go to "Find or trade" > "Commodity futures" to find a list of contracts that are offerred.

Our brokerage is 0.1% + VAT of the value of the trade.

Trading hours: From 1 November 2010 will be from 09:00 to 17:00 (currently 09:00 to 15:45)

Refer to our "Commodity futures user guide" document that can be found by clicking on "Help and education" > "Futures" for more detail on the specific contract requirements of each future. Pay special attention to the Exposure multiplier and contract roll over dates in the examples given in the document.

Why are the JSE indices for Mining and Gold Mining no longer supported by any data here? Only the Platinum Mining index working.
