Would you buy VOD now, my view is that 58.80 is a decent price with a long term view especially if you compare to MTN. Any views?

in many ways a very different company to MTN .. being owned 65% by Vodafone limits their potential expansion markets .. whereas MTN can go pretty much anywhere ..

It will be interesting to see what Vodafone offers us. The name will probably be phases into our country and I'd say 2 years till Vodacom becomes Vodafone

Limited growth opportunities. If I have to choose, I'd choose MTN any given day. MTN will definitely be a takeover target in future. It's just a question of time.
