Hello VODA, what do you guys think? Do you think the starting price of VODA today is fair, around 5850? is it not too low? What then is likely to be the realistic price for both VOD and TKG that some of us also hold?

Vodacom is capped at 70bil, MTN capped at 200bil. I think you'll see a drop in the Vodacom price to around R50-55 later when the hype has cooled down a bit.

Vodacom results out tomorrow according to Summit at one stage. There could potentially be a further dividend on Vodacoms. Keep in mind.
Also, Telkom will have their results end of May, beginning of June and could also have a further potential dividend over and above the special dividend.

One still stands to gain R 19 special div, Telkom only distributed 50% as special divs so that makes R38, which means the market is currently valueing TKG at R18. Even for TKG this seems a bit low. Not that I believe this strongly enough to buy at these levels.
