Vod Quarterly results and MTR

Market seems particularly unimpressed with the results today. The share price has been taking a hammering since a few days ago. I noticed mention of losses on the MTR (reduced Mobile Termination Rate) but this number is not quantified or even addressed in detail. Is it perhaps just an excuse (as MTR was reduced in March already so this would not be a Q on Q loss)? Is it some attempt to make ICASA think their MTR-reducing initiative had an effect - following Vod being slammed at the hearings recently?

VOD have operational cost pressures like you won't believe. The good times are over folks. Rather jump ship and join the MTN African growth ship. At least it's going somewhere.
