Why is steinhoff tumbling? Its chart looks good but it is falling. What gives?

I got out of SHF for that specific reason two weeks ago - sometimes movements I could not explain.

Tumbling...? Try focus on end of day prices... 3% followed by 2% up aint bad at all.

SHF is up? Not sure what you mean by tumbling? My view on SHF was that you should have bought at below 2350 and sold out at 2490 or higher if the day allows. Now the share will probably trade sideways for a few days and perhaps down again. IMO SHF is good for 5 or 7% if your timing is right.

Think it's got upside to around R26 before trading sideways again... chart looking good...

I agree. SHF could surpass 2600? Historically it has tested the 2600+ resistance level 3 times at a quick glance. With May around the corner it may retract yet again and then I think SHF will test new highs in the remaining few months of 2007. My 2c.Regards, BTTB.
