Warrants dropping to Zero value

Hi, I am new to warrants and just have a question about warrants that drop to zero value. What happens then? Do you simply sit with x amount of warrants that have no value until such time as the associated share picks up again, or do they, for lack of a better word, "disolve" once they have no value? Thanks

The don't "dissolve". They sit in your portfolio at 1c to mock you.

I think if they're vanilla warrants like most of SBank's, then they'll gain value again if the share price adjusts. But if the expiry date comes before they gain back some value, well, they expire. For good. The more exotic varieties like barrier warrants or waves etc. terminate immediately when the particular target price for expiry is reached. There's no turning back. But it does take a few days for them to disappear out of your portfolio. And you tend to avoid looking at your portfolio because it's not a nice sight. That's what me thinks you're asking.
