Webtrader Questions

Hi All, I'm longterm investor and have been looking at Webtrader as a platform to buy shares based offshore. It seems webtrader is more aimed at trading more than investing? If I buy a share on the Deutsche Bourse, is it the same as having shares on the JSE? Is the maximum I can lose the invested amount? And the Administration fee isn't clear, if someone can give me an example it would be much appreciated.
