Also it didn't seem that investors were happy with the size of the profit - Despite the profit being greater than some survey that was done. I guess the american investor is becomming more astute and can no longer be fooled by reverse psycology created by stupid surveys.

Skaap, maybe its as simple as the doomzdayer did not get in (or sold to low) and now wants in. Thus trying to talk panic into the market hopefully drops the price so they can get in..... when there is to much information the simplest reason usually is the right reason...

I also think that the investors are trying to aim too high, $3.3bn is not bad earnings for Q4, look at what Citi has reported... I think they were more upset by the revenues not being where they thought it should as opposed to the earnings. but we must look out for GS, BofA and Wells to compare.
