Chartist, todays gap has closed nicely and everyone is happy. My question is whereto now? Do you look at other markets for direction? Do you wait for tomorrows gap?

I a mpurely going on what I see on the IGIndex South Africa 40 Jun08 graph. According to that it opened on 29355, gapping down from yesterdays' 29527.

Sure I understand, but they often only get going a few seconds minutes behind our market. The chart is also an average of the spread. As result it is somtimes a little grey. If you figure it out let me know. I use the dwt high low of the Day for refrence.

You are not wrong, one trade does not make a market. It is one of those grey areas for me and I have made my share of mistakes based on this in the past, I spent a few minutes in debate about it today which is why I posted.

Thanx for that! i appreciate any info/feedback. The initial learning curve is quite steep, although some of these issues might seem very obvious to some others.
