ah, yet another IT. my sympathies mate. considering a career change, IT can be a bit too tiring long term. been 10 years now, mostly in banking technology, and retail banking at that (eina).

later 5 years was a private business with around 50 employees, so not too dissimilar. never found it gave us any more time though! if anything, less time :D but good on you if you can still find the time to trade away. i ended up mostly leaving it until afterwards, my loss of the recent good years! somehow dont think it is going to be as steady steady upwards as it has been since 2003. but bring on the volatility, can be our friend if we pucker up to her...
