Whats going on?

Hi, I see shp has appointed a non exec director (on sens) but why the 6.8% drop with huge volume?

Ok I see they are offering 5% more shares...

Can some please explain what this means ? I.e. why the drop in the share price ?

Example: If a company is worth R 100 and they have 100 shares available then the company trades for R 1 p/share.
If that company decideds to make more shares available, i.e. now theres 200 shares available, then the share price drops to 50c p/share. (0.5x200 same as 1x100)
