Whats up with the Rand strength?

Figgered our numbers would have resulted in the weakening of the Rand? Maybe Overseas thinks its a done deal that we'll raise rates again and are looking for the yield? Is it more dollar weakness, looking at Gold$ over 650? Should be setting up for a relief rally on gold counters of say 10%+ in short term I think...

Since 1996 when I bought my house, my house is up 6x, but gold is only up 3x. So gold needs to double in Rands to be the same value as my house. I believe that gold will double in Rands price over the next 2 to 3 years whilst house prices stabilise. I believe this will happen by it becoming 5 to the Dollar whilst at the same time gold going to $2000 per ounce. At the moment the gold price is "steady" between R4600 and R5000 per ounce.
