Could it perhaps be options that they were granted earlier that they are selling and buying shares,or some other reason,but what ever, they are not trying to mislead the market.

in retrospect,i must say,directors do from time to time mislead the market,but in the instance of buying and selling on the same day usually not,there are more subtle ways of getting a share to move in the direction required,by directors and usually large share holders,depending wether they want to buy or sell their share..now i'm not about to speculate on these methods as they vary and can fill a boook or two!
