Why doesnt my order show?

Say you put a pending SSF order in for a share. Shouldn't your order be reflected in the market depth? The sales orders reflected are 5c above and 3c below the sell order i placed....but why?

If you place say, 1 contract to buy XYZ, then your order will show as (approx) 104 XYZ.

Did you wait long enough for the jse to receive and process the order? (anything from 30sec to 5mins . . .)

Yeah but wat about the SSF volume in Standard Bank's market depth? Say there's 10 contracts to short XZY @ R100, if i put an order to sell at R100, shouldn't the volume increase to 11? OR say there's also an order at R102 and i put an order @ R101, surely my order should be reflected in market depth? I tried this today but it didn't work..
