Why is the application of warrens Buffets principles more difficult than it looks

Just read the Intelligent investor by Ben Graham.Buffets principles look simple and easy to understand yet there is still one one warren buffet in the world.I supopose you could argue that Remgro are value invsetors and a few others I think the patience is the hardest part to sit and wait for when nobody wants that stock anymore and until your insight tells you its a buy.

What I don't get is why does everyone like the ones with nuts, fudge, caramel or toffee and no one want the turkish delight, orange creams or those gross strawberry ones.

Yes, WHY do they still make them. In an emergency you can bite the top off and rinse out all the pink goo with cold water. But a nasty residue remains.
