Why the 7% drop?

Does anyone know why BPL dropped about 7.5% on Friday? Your thoughts will be most appreciated.

Not 100% sure, but I think (therefore I am, I think) it was the last day to trade before they de-list and "become" Eastplats, probably at a lower price??

I know I shouldn't, but i can't stop myself...... Perhaps read the post above - if Fri were the last day to trade, you might reasonably expect that today it would be suspended and you couldn't trade Barplats, under that counter? Try EPS now

You're right dilligaff. Those who had barplats shares, automatically have EPS shares now. EPS is now trading at around the same pice that Barplats traded before the Friday fall. Thanks for the enlightenment dilligaff.
