Yes you do Simon but KZN coal expensive to mine and has high sulphur which in our new green future is not popular. Even more coal in Waterburg, Botswana and Zim but logistics issue currently make them effectively stranded assets - whatever CIC Energy tries to tell shareholders. Always arguements about the classification of coal reserves and resources and therefore the confidence that any investor can place in them.

The world will start to run short of coal sometime around 2200... so it's not a short term problem. How to mine it economically and in an environmentally friendly fashion is a more acute problem.
