Here's an amazing coincidence about the number 3964 and the winner of this world cup- Brazil won in 1962+2002 = 3964 -Brazil won in 1970+1994 = 3964. Germany won in 1974 + 1990 = 3964. Argentina won in 1978 +1986 = 3964 Therefore using this formula - 3964 minus 2010 = 1954 - who won the world cup in 1954 ? -- GERMANY .Just maybe Werners team will take the cup .

DEUTSCHLAND!!! - I agree with your ideas about GER vs NED in final. Will be quite interesting... I dont think anyone expected a 4-0 score against ARG though... We went to CPT to see the game at a very awesome restaurant and then chatted with many german fans - had a very good time!

I know that Spain is the current Euro champs, but I find it interesting that most people are believing Spain will win the cup - Obviously i am a German supporter but who here thinks that Germany played better over the weekend than Spain? I think it will be some exciting matches coming this week! And i am not so happy that its ending soon, i really enjoyed watching the games and the whole world cup went to well, i will miss it when its over.

I love Joachim Loew's strategies. I think of it as German Precision - I believe i can learn from people like this guy how one should build investment portfolios - one might think it sounds nuts but all these strategy games have a similarity. Just think about it like this, Loew's strategy is about fast moves, rock solid defense and some good attackers, the blitz-attacks are the best! If one builds a strategy that's core focus is on patience and consistent solid companies, one adds a few growth shares one ends up with very well rounded portfolio - i recall a thread about the soccer portfolio... I like to think of my strategy as having these ideas built in - its the best way to ensure success... another thing: everyone in the team must know exactly where they stand in the bigger picture, etc. so the investor should be able to explain why each and every portfolio company is there and whats it indended focus...

i WATCHED THE UEFA CLUB FINAL ,just before the world cup.In that matchthe German's club did everything a team should do,such as attack all the time, play 80% of the time in their opponents half, except for one thing. They LOST the match. The Spanish marked each player of their opponents perfectly. The four times they broke from theirown goal area they looked dangerous ,finally resuting in two goals as they had follow through. The German tean seemed to follow only one tactic during the whole game and the Spanish knew what to expect. What the German Team should have done is to at times fallen back and at least played the game in centre field so as to draw the Spanish out of their tight defensive position.I hope the Germans will show more variety of play this time.

Not Spanish, Italian, yet again as Lippi said not Italian as no Italian was on the field(mainly Brasilians,Argentinians, Dutch). The game was InterMilan - Bayern Munich

@striker, my point exactly - TA is a self-fulfilling prophecy. More than 50% of those who participate in the stock market (traders and investors) subscribe to TA and about 90+% of "traders" are TA specialists. So when a nice head and shoulder develops, t
