"In the light of the above, I have come to the difficult conclusion that it is neither possible nor desirable for the NPA to continue with the prosecution of Mr Zuma."

In effect our constitution has been injested and ejected out the rear. Let the job feast start with key supporters taking key high paying government roles after April despite single digit IQ's. Let them feast till they fat and when the cupboards lie bare...dan kom die *****! Thereafter first on the hit list will be the foreigners and xenophobia will flare up once again. The road to bananadom has begun....

Rand hasn't moved because international investors don't really care: the outlook for SA is reasonably stable, compared to most emerging markets, regardless of current political events (and even when judged against some developed markets, where MP's order porn on the public account). So ignore the carping. The market is.

Gravy -- what a ludicrous comparison. Theft of untold Rm's from our taxes,by the ruling untouchable elite, compared to a Pound 20,hired DVD,by the British MP's husband!! Notice any difference in the reprecussions between these two events ,by the respective Governments ?????

There's still a chance. Your vote still counts (hopefully) and SA can vote out this insult to our intelligence.

No its not. Labour has beggared the UK, by adopting a Thatcherite economic model; getting the public to pay for chicken choke material is just a symptom of management by overeducated incompetents the West seems to crave. By comparison, we in pretty darned good shape.
