ya, gap trading is a system, my system be longer and as such ignores gaps (in part by only entering at 4.30pm and in part by being longer term - 1-10 weeks).

err I wouldnt be going long either right now...I see a possible reverse head and shoulders on the premarket FTSE but I would wait for it to open and move through 6450....at the moment its still a short if we bounce off 27900 resistance....if we move through its a long.....

John ...u see what I mean?....you gotta always be aware of the strength of the gap play...you cant argue with it and try and go long when its a short gap
