Blue bouncing back Business Day reported that Blue Financial Services, the pan-African micro lender is back in business and has started lending. The company is lending to customers in markets such as Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Malawi and Nigeria. It will start lending Ghana in March and will relaunch in SA in the same month even though it has already started lending on a small scale. CEO Johan Meiring said business is looking up and thinks things are now a lot better, although there is a lot of hard work ahead. Mr Meiring added that now, the business can be run without hindrance, due to being restructured in a way that for the next three years, the group will have access to about R1 billion to grow the business. In addition to that, the group are strengthening the balance sheet, and have another R500 million available
