if the proposed buyout does materialise, at what offer price can we set a target? is the NAV as currently reflected accurate? thanks for your comments!

since they forecast a loss, the NAV will go down (with next set of results). Also, it sounds like they desperate for the cash so this might reduce the bid price even further. I'm expecting at least 30c as a bid. Another problem is how long is this process going to take?

thanks, very instructive, but what about the africa deal, once that is finalised in october(?) the balance sheet will be much stronger before year end...

there is no guarantee that the 'Africa deal' will go their way. Also, I expect the buyout to happen before October.

At 20c per share, unconnected shareholders (excludes Solethu Civils and Racec directors and their connections) will be getting shafted. This offer needs to be a seriously hard fought affair. jofle
