If not today, then probably by Thursday when US data is out but definitely by Friday when a slew of data is out for JPY, GBP, EUR and USD. US initial claims consensus is for 560k but rumours in the FX market calls for a surprise in the high 900k or even 1 bar (and that me maties, will set the cat among the pigeons). But then it just a rumour yet. Locally, anyone seen the article on Nissan slating ABSA? When a corporate the size of Nissan starts having trouble with getting credit you know the game's up. I think the credit crunch is finally starting to arrive here properly. 'Ole Trevor's wrong, we will not escape recession, and a probable socialist economic policy post election will guarantee that whatever entrepreneurship we have left will be strangled. Smart money won't suffer the fools in the sacp.
