hi simon, i withdrew a small amount on my available cash balance of the trading account yesterday (yes, well before 2pm) and yes, i am a standard bank customer. rules state that requests prior to 14h00 will be done same day. now, i can confirm the truth of that in the debit to my trading account - but i think it is implied that the concomitant credit to my current account should happen same day also. i have never seen the so-called banking delay that banks usually warn of when transferring across banks, even on payments made as late as 18h00 in standard bank, except with the likes of investec etc who ride on/piggy back the major banks systems. to top it off, this is standard bank trading to a standard bank current account. i really do not see the humour in that. ps.: money still not in my current account ! pls advise, brgds oliver
