help me trade plz

I'm a new trader and every time i want to trade/buy a share it's gives me a message that reads: "cannot trade on this share as it is a managed account". Can any one please help me on this?? :(

Maybe you have two linked accounts? Gotta make sure you're logged onto the one on which you want to trade.

Maybe you're tring to buy shares from a warrants account or vice versa? phone SBK...

Managed account are usually accounts locked by a company if they issued you with shares. The wait period can be about 3 years (mine is). You have to open a seperate account to trade with. But that's just my guess as to what's wrong. There may be another reason and you will have to contact SB for that.
