the EUR and USD index is diverging from these moves.. something else is moving the US and UK.. im not convinced yet..

It seems not everyone shares our optimism. Yesterday's news about General Growth's bankruptcy had a bigger influence than today's good news about Citibank's first quarter profit. The south African market did not even seem to notice the news about JP Morgan Chase's better than expected results... Volumes don't seem to be there to drive a rally today either...

Right now its all about the currency.. thats what sparked this rally to begin with when the euro /dollar hit a double bottom.....yesterday the rand broke key levels on both the dollar and the euro
