Last year - sold AGL short. Price kept on rising, got stopped out yesterday for a grand loss of R160K - what a way to start the new year

well at least it only took 10 days this year for you to admit you were wrong... as apposed to 9 months of last year.. thats progress!!!

more important then holding down to your stop is the position size.. looks like R160k was a bit more than 1-2% ..How was your holiday. Looking forward to a beer

Well DR your portfolio value must be huge if you ran your stop loss to the norm of between 5-10%. Private schools are very exspensive. Maybe take a breal and relook at your approach.

Eddy had the same problem, he shorted at 150. why short a bull? for our learning/understanding can you tell us at what day you went short and explain the TA behind your decision, so we may study it and learn from your mistakes. Thanks
