any one of the forumites ging in on REM after their results? trading at price lower than it's intrinsic value... director bought for 3,5 Mil yesterday. Any thoughts on this share?

it always trades below the NAV, trick is that when that discount (share price to NAV) gets to bigger then 20%, then = good buy. Average seems to be about 12-16. Also today the analysis rated it as an out preform for the next 12 months. All in all a good company, just wonder what they'll do with all the cash they got?

Simon, just wondering how muh of the NAV in REM is market related since they own parts of a lot of other companies. Also just how does the exchange rate come into play when loking at the NAV since they also own foreign assets... any clue?

well ya, the listed stocks are at market price with exchange rates taken intoa ccount. The unliested a little more tricky but the analysis get a grip on them. Add it all togther and you get a NAV, and companies lie rem always trade at discoutn to nav, just depends on the size of the nav.
