does anyone no if the originator of an eds has a fiduciary duty to inform an investor if there is a barrier on an EDs whereby they(institution) can sell it out without getting permission from the owner of an eds .this happened to me & Ilost more than half my original investment!

All Hot eds have a barrier, go to the website. This site should display them as diffrent from other instalments, but they do not...Also watch out for the ocational put instalment lurcking. Simon, having worked for SA-warrents you should be the first to insist they make changes in this regard to the website.

Thats if you actually want to keep your clients...Rule of thumb investec installments with a gearing over 2% usually have a barrier.
