and all the panic about nationalisation, end of the wordl etc. Was it in the price or not? Would we survive the rest of the day never mind the week?

gone all quiet, and now he has been suspended with immediate effect ..

Actually he can't be back at Mangaung 2012 if his membership is suspended, but he can still influence the vote.... but his power will be tested over the next few months.

All very speculative, but with Malema everything is, especially with him now acting as protege for a chappy from St Davids College... Me thinks his next move will be to establish his own political party, that is, if the hawksdo not close him down. Speking of which - seemingly the powers at be wants JZ out of the way as well...

but thats the point, rember JZ was down and out and then became the PREz with much worse charges still hanging over him, if JZ is out at Mangaung, Malema may be a Minister in the new goverment

big difference, Zuma was never kicked out of the party, Malema is being kicked out .. his only hope now rests with the courts over ruling the ANC constitution and NDC process, an that'll take years ..

He could set up in opposition of course. He has the following - so backers should be available. I believe this might potend the breakup of the ANC. While that could be very unpleasant for all of us in the short term, in the long run - it is critical for the country's future that the stranglehold of the ANC be broken. If it takes Malema to do it - then at least he has a use after all.

but remember this Simon, Zuma also had to go thru the courts over two very serious issues and those issues were sorted very quickly after Polokwane....if the Malema camp wins in Mangaung, the process to get Malema back in thru the courts will be expedited...the charges are not criminal but an internal ANC one and the ANC can reverse it, if he gets his man in!

Problem is not Malema! The problem is the the philosophy he subscribes to. If not him then there may be very well some other turkey that carries on with "the good work". Problem is he has sown the seeds of dissent among an unemployed mass.

Malema was a King maker, if he succeeds in making another King, he may become a King himself...people who hane nothing to lose are more determined and maybe more dangerous?
