hello, i brought 45 shares from AGL short term but it is now about two month it keep on performing very badly. should i hod on?

what was your strategy when you bought them? i understand you were not investing and in fact trading... this means that your share evaluation should have included when you'll exit the share. stop losses work well in a scenario like yours where the share didn't perform as you'd expect, i suggest that you set yours.

bought it at R279.00 lookimg to come out at around R285 next week or so

I bought it through my stockbroker. To me I was trading for short term in order to get some returns. The price per share was 304.98 but at the moment the share is trading at 268.15 I do not even have a stop losses. That is my 1st share I ever brought on online trading. I needed a lot of education

Well, if you've held it this long you might just as well ride it through.
