Best place to eat in PE is Angelo's in Central. Most expensive item on menu is about R 25. a full Saffa breakfast costs about R 20, and they do an awesome strawberry juice. the place gets packed over lunch though. Pick up some awesome coffee at Mastertons just round the corner, and browse two good antique shops for books about 100m away. IMHO.

Just take your chopsticks, wasabi and ginger down to the beach and pluck the little critters straight out the big blue yonder.

Hi Si, Best sushi used to be in Koyoto at the Boardwalk. While its still good there, there is very good sushi at the Oyster Catcher in the Harbour and at Cape Town Fish Market (CTFM) down Heugh Road past Walmer/Lovermore Heights way. I've also heard the rumours that a brand new sushi restaurant opened up called "Fusion" run by some big-shot sushi chef...but I haven't been there and am not sure where it is. Hope it helps.
