Geez Chartist - that was hilarious! I could just see where that one was going once you got him painted into his no risk corner! A colleague of mine bought the package (about 2 years ago when it was still about R8K) against my advice....and yes he has yet to place a trade on the JSE!

Pardon this 1c late comment: FinWeek will not respond in a way that would damage their advertising income. Ons should report the gimmick to the consumer board or even the advertising control fuzz.

there are now consumer laws around marketing/selling of TA packages. Came out a year or three back from the department of trade and industry.
