I was thinking Edcon as well. Seems right up their alley. Not sure whether Edcon is going to be willing yet. Maybe they'll only go after certain of Edcon's assets. I've read a few articles about Edcon wanting to sell non-core assets. Not sure if they'll give up the whole company for R1 but that kind of deal has been done before.
