Seaborne coking coal price rises Seaborne hard coking coal spot prices continued to creep up on Friday October 28 with demand from China appearing to be still healthy. A premium Australian brand was heard to have changed hands between traders at $256-257 per tonne cfr China while a cargo of second-tier materials was offered at $226 per tonne cfr China. Winter restocking and expectations of logistical constraints supported demand.
