But MTN SBM is a call warrant - which you bought at 27c. So how exactly did you profit from it?

Re:Re:MTN - taking on water by Preston on 27 Oct 12:28 @BC01, I was long at the end of yesterday after the rapid fall, sold long for a profit that could buy a bottle of Johnnie Walker Black. Based on the price action I am seeing and I am short at this stage. I have to admit, I've not read the Kumba report. I just got the cost guidance at $40/tonne from articles. Thanks for the info... I need to go through the report. But if they're managing costs at around $30, that would mean it still makes sense for all the large low cost suppliers to keep increasing supply and push out as many high-cost suppliers as possible. So, there's a very real possibility that the price could drop to the $30 range? Personally, if I was Vale or BHP producing at $15/tonne I would keep feeding the glut until the price was even less than $15 and I was the only supplier!
