Can anyone tell me what is wrong with Sanlam over the last few months, apart form the general market decline at present.Chris

I think you answered your own question. If you compare the results of other insurance companies and the Banks, you will see that they follow the same trends. So it must be the market.

Thanks MMouse for the response. I had wondered if the cause may have been the recent change in the management and that perhaps the larger institutional investors knew something the public didn't.

Sanlam's invest in equities and properties, so it is actually a mirror of the market as whole to an extent, so if the market goes down so does it share.
