Lonmin - BEE partners bailing

So much for BEE, saving jobs and transformation. Old Cyril Ramaphosa is first in the queue when the ANC shouts 26% empowerment and loan is given by the same company that offer up a portion of their company in the name of black empowerment, but first to run as quickly as his Louis Vuitton's shoes allows him to run when 36 000 jobs are on the line. I reckon if Lonmin makes it, he'll get a placeholder to keep his spot in front of the row to clinch a rewarding deal again, because he'll be too embarrassed to stand in the queue. What a bunch of hypocrites. http://www.fin24.com/Finweek/Business-and-economy/Five-years-on-Shanduka-drops-Lonmin-20151105 Proudly South African

They make a whole range of men's shoes - the type indicated here would be classed by them as "loafers." NOT SURE if one can draw any further conclusions from that name ?

That just shows 1 thing. The BEE guys aren't in it for the long hall.. They just want they quick buck and bail.. They have added jack value to any of the companies they have a BEE holding in...FACT

Sorry to pick up on this "negative" line. I agree fully and would have used another term in the place of "jack". But this is nothing new and as old as 21 years.
