It has reached long term support. I wonder if all the bad news is priced in yet?

Today's retail sales figures for clothing wasn't too bad (compared against total retail sales). This means Mr Price is losing market share at a rapid pace.

Its been too easy lately..management is out of touch and "lazy"...never see senior team members in stores. Pricing good but range so so! However PnP clothing (Umhlanga)....full of winter woolies...crazy !!!

this si their problem, forget weather .. it about market share, now they say others did deep discounting and hence customers moved .. Q is how many can they win back coz a lost customer has to be regained ..

Brand loyalty is s dubious asset? Is there any reason why the client will not come back if the price and goods are right?

absolutely they should .. but it going to be harder to always get price right with stiff competition .. so more blips or generally lower sales and margins ??

Agree - last-mentioned. These retailers ( I have a business partner who supplies similar goods to the big dogs ) tend to freeze - and Suspect they will be less innovative - and more mainline(?) = more general offering - and lower margins... ? Flat earnings results...
