Hi, The SSF bid is priced from the Cash Bid of a share. Before 9h00 most of the times nobody has their true BIDs for shares in place yet as they want to see what happens. So if someone has left a LOW BID on cash for say the remaining month, the SSF will reflect the equivalent BID for it. Ignore, this volatility and focus on where it starts trading from 9h00. Also remember someone might sell during the day to the curretn bid and for a minute or so there may be no new bids at that level and your SSF will suddenly show a huge drop, which is not in fact true. Takes time to get used to, and please dont set auto stops on bid for your SSF, rather use price traded triggers to alert you, cause if a bid falls away it may just trigger your stop loss!!!
